Frisby Ridge Property - Kootnay British Columbia

Property Profile

The property is comprised of 3 claim blocks totaling 73 claim units, located just north of the City of Revelstoke in the Columbia-Kootnay area of British Columbia, Canada.

The claims are a Sedex type deposit showing silver, lead and zinc, similar to the nearby Ruddick Creek, Cottonbelt and Jordan River deposits. The mineralized horizon has been followed for more than a kilometer, and is thought to extend throughout the entire property length. There is also a parallel horizon 2-5 metres thick, of extrusive carbonatite, a type of volcanic limestone.

In a exploration program conducted within the summer of 2009, Silver Fields Resources Inc. has established the presence of anomalous niobium and rare earth elements minerals. The minerals are present within a bedded layer of rare earth bearing extrusive carbonatite, with associated sedimentary exhalative style silver-lead-zinc mineralization. The target stratigraphy has been traced for several kilometers in length and is open in all directions. These results are from 105 soil samples taken on 2.65 km of grid.

Geochemical assay results from the soil samples show clearly that niobium and the full range of rare earth elements are present in the extrusive carbonatite bed which has been measured to be 5 meters thick where exposed. The results also confirm and expand a 1990 soil sample survey which produced highly anomalous results in niobium and rare earth elements.
